The socket heads are quenched and protected from corrosion with chroming. They can withstand high and prolonged loads. The twelve-point profile provides greater freedom for positioning the head on fasteners. The angle of rotation of the head between the faces of the fastener is 30°. It is used to work with twelve-point and hexagonal profile fasteners. The elongated shape of the head allows for working with fasteners on relatively high studs or with deep-seated threaded parts. The special rifled texture on the base of the head improves grip characteristics and prevents slipping in hands.
